Walking in Fort Ord is a good way to relax and exercise with the option of making images. This is an iPhone photo in 4 parts stitched together with a Photoshop and then subjected to various effects and filters to make this image. I like the extra effect of the painting upon the already shapely and interesting forms of the California Maple. They are a great tree like the oak and twist and turn with life's effects upon them. Much like the people here they are products of their environment. Across the road there are cattle so the trees have cleaner trunks and more interesting base structures to look at.
